How lead capture works
Two actions capture an email: unlocking gated details and saving a post.
feedlnk turns engagement into an email list. Two reader actions create a lead, each logged with the post that triggered it.
Unlocked details
When a post is gated, the reader sees an unlock prompt. Entering an email or logging in reveals the content and records a lead with source Unlocked details.
Saved post
Tapping Save on a card requires an email, which records a lead with source Saved post. The reader can find saved cards later via the Saved posts link.
A returning reader who already unlocked or saved is recognized. Gated content stays open for them, and their email shows in the feed header.
To decide when the gate fires, see Set up lead gating.
